Akyru is the model we want under Soriku. Not because we dislike other models, but because we want a path where a prompt never has to leave our servers.
Code Light 7b passed the first internal benchmark we care about: code explanation, short refactors, and structured extraction for Rozuro receipts. It is not magic. It is good enough to put behind a feature flag and use on real work.
The 14b variant is queued. Until then Soriku can still route to Ollama models and to external keys when needed. Own model when we can, other models when we must.
